Final Major Project:
For my Master's degree major project, I produced and recorded "The Garage Sessions" concept EP, combining traditional and experimental techniques to record a band live in a garage, then mastering onto cassette tapes to explore music distribution beyond streaming platforms. This project, inspired by cassette culture, delves into authenticity in the music industry. Additionally, I created a podcast to discuss the project's key themes and methodologies to provide new insights.

Shift Symposium Event:
As a Live Sound Engineer for the 'Shift Symposium' event, I was responsible for loading in and setting up the backline, stage boxes, monitors, and the main PA system. I provided live sound for four bands and two industry panels, operating a Behringer X32 mixing desk with efficiency. Additionally, I created technical specifications for the event and conducted training sessions for the event stage crew, covering stage management, microphone placement, backline setup, and operations of sound and lighting desks. I also developed comprehensive risk assessments to ensure safety and smooth execution of the event.

Responsibilities:
I earned a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship - Drums from BIMM Manchester, where I delved into various aspects of being a professional musician, including drumming techniques, solo and group performances, artist development, music business, and theoretical studies. With over five years of band experience, I've played sold-out gigs in venues with 300+ capacities and participated in festivals. My studio experience is extensive, working both as a drummer and sound engineer on tracks featured on platforms like BBC Introducing and Manchester XS. For my dissertation, I explored remote drumming during Covid, setting up a home studio to offer drum recordings for sessions remotely, further expanding my versatility and adaptability in the music industry.
