Responsibilities:
At AO Arena I am responsible for in-house audio including operating live sound, RF and comms systems. I mix FOH and Mons for the AO Arena's in-house events including corporate events and working directly with artists such as Pete Doherty, Tim Burgess, Paul Smith (Maximo Park) and Joe Talbot (Idles) for Chris Hawkins' (BBC Radio 6) Q&A events, which include interviews and live music performances.

Responsibilities:
In my role as a Media and Theatre Technician, I actively engage in live sound engineering for a variety of events, including musicals, plays, and live performances, ensuring the meticulous setup and calibration of sound systems. I operate sophisticated mixing and lighting desks like the FLX 48 and Allen & Heath SQ5, manage audio-visual elements through Qlab, and handle live camera feeds and vision mixing. Beyond live sound, I maintain a comprehensive TV studio, utilizing advanced equipment like Blackmagic Design tools and Sony and Canon cameras.

At Radar Festival 2023, I was part of the audio and stage crew, focusing on patching and routing audio for the second stage and serving as a backline technician for guitars, amps, and drums. I was also involved in the main stage crew, where my responsibilities included building and moving stage risers, hanging backdrops, loading in and out equipment, and setting up microphones. I worked closely with touring crews and bands, including notable acts like Periphery, Sleep Token, and Loathe, ensuring their technical requirements were met efficiently.

As a Freelance Audio Technician at Lions Den in Manchester, I provided comprehensive live sound and lighting services for a diverse range of events, including plays, live music performances, and stand-up comedy shows, notably for the popular comedian 'Dragos' during his tour. My responsibilities spanned the entire audiovisual spectrum, from setting up and calibrating sound systems to ensuring optimal lighting for each event, demonstrating my versatility and ability to adapt to different performance needs.

At the Deaf Institute, I operated as an Audio Engineer, managing sound and lighting for various acts, including The Lilacs, The Shambolics, and The Bluetones. My duties involved powering up digital stage boxes and full PA systems, engaging with artists to meet their technical requirements, selecting and positioning microphones, and setting up DI boxes. I was responsible for sound checks, live mixing using X32/M32 desks, and controlling DMX lighting consoles, providing both FOH and monitor mixes to enhance the live performance experience.

As an Audio Engineer at the UK Drum Show, I managed Front of House (FOH) and Monitor mixes for The Lounge stage, supporting drum solo performances, masterclasses, and interview panels with renowned drummers. Collaborating closely with the senior audio technician of the ACC, I operated a Yamaha QL1 mixing desk, integrated iPads for enhanced control, and expertly mic'd up diverse drum sets and percussion instruments. My responsibilities also included running backing tracks and managing wireless headset and handheld microphones, ensuring clear and dynamic sound for each act.
